Position Overview: The Asphalt Operator plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective operation of paving machinery and related tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a range of machinery including Rollers, Loaders, Excavators, Backhoes, and Graders.
- Engage in physically demanding tasks that require strength and stamina.
- Maintain constant awareness of the work environment.
- Keep the job site and equipment clean to prevent hazards.
- Adhere to safety protocols and utilize appropriate tools for each task.
- Ensure the safety of team members at all times.
- Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience operating construction equipment.
- Possession of a valid driver's license in good standing.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting, including potential extended hours.
- Proficient in operating machinery safely and responsibly.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with colleagues and supervisors.

Work Environment:
The role of an Asphalt Operator involves physically demanding activities, including lifting and maneuvering heavy equipment. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, steel-toed boots, and reflective vests are required to ensure safety on site. The work is primarily conducted outdoors, subject to varying weather conditions.
