Welder Specialist

About the Role:
Tolko Industries Ltd. is seeking a skilled Welder Specialist to join our team at our High Level, Alberta location. As a key member of our fabrication and repair team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient assembly of structural forms, repair of metal components, and maintenance of mill equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply knowledge of welding techniques and metallurgy to complete the lay-out, fitting, and fabrication of metal components.
- Repair metal components and infrastructure using gas, arc-air, MIG, TIG, and electrode as required.
- Accurately read blueprints and interpret OEM maintenance information to complete work to mill standards.
- Work independently and as part of a team to troubleshoot issues and complete tasks efficiently.
Requirements:
- Red Seal Welder certification.
- Experience with CMMS systems and JD Edwards.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Fabricator endorsement and millwright experience an asset.
