About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Mechanic and Millwright to join our team at Progressive Machine & Mechanical Service Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Assembly and Repair: Assemble, install, and repair mechanical equipment and machinery, including stationary industrial machinery.
  • Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance work on machinery, detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions, and repair or replace defective machinery parts.
  • Fabrication and Installation: Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up, and install machinery and equipment.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety protocols and wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve maintenance goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 to 60 hours per week.
