Position Overview:
The Service Technician plays a crucial role in delivering technical assistance, maintenance, and repair services for various equipment and systems. This position requires the ability to identify problems, conduct preventative maintenance, and ensure client satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving skills.
This role is also open to apprentice technicians who are eager to learn. If you possess hands-on skills or have experience with electrical systems, we encourage you to consider this opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:As a vital member of the Operations Manager's team, the Service Technician will:
- Interpret circuits, wiring diagrams, and schematics to install, repair, calibrate, and service electromechanical devices and systems.
- Dismantle, inspect, and replace electromechanical equipment, including defective electrical and mechanical components.
- Utilize mechanical skills to troubleshoot and repair cleaning and sanitizing equipment, including electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Carry out diverse tasks to install and maintain sanitizing equipment and facility systems provided by Sani Marc.
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance as per the established PM program.
- Deliver value-added after-sales service and engage in problem-solving.
- Manage the installation and maintenance of cleaning chemical systems in Food & Beverage facilities.
- Travel to customer locations as required.
- Assist other departments with internal tasks.
- Diagnose issues, determine corrective actions, and perform necessary repairs.
- Handle service calls and assess customer needs.
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
- Strong electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills.
- Experience in maintaining food service equipment is preferred.
- Experience in mobile onsite service is an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively, demonstrate initiative, and be solutions-oriented.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Strong organizational skills and a thorough understanding of processes.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- All candidates must complete a mechanical/electrical aptitude assessment during the interview process.
