Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Truck and Coach Technician Apprentice. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be enrolled in the Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities Truck and Coach Technician apprenticeship program. You will work under the guidance of experienced technicians to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in servicing, maintaining, diagnosing, repairing, and modifying all off-road and on-road transport and work equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Service, maintain, diagnose, repair, and modify all off-road and on-road transport and work equipment
  • Determine work and parts required, ensure equipment is in service when needed, and install specialized auxiliary devices and associated equipment
  • Travel and work throughout the province, with the possibility of being stationed at any Hydro One facility
Requirements
  • Grade 12 or equivalent, including Grade 12 Mathematics and Grade 12 English
  • Related work experience is an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
