About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Platform Engineering team at Moz, Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our AWS environments, leading automation efforts, and ensuring seamless integration between development and operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Work closely with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle, ensuring seamless collaboration and delivery.
  • Set up and manage monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or Datadog to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.
  • Implement and enforce AWS security best practices, including IAM, encryption, and network security.
  • Identify and implement improvements within DevOps processes to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency, driving continuous improvement across the organization.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • ~5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps roles, with a strong focus on AWS.
  • Strong proficiency with GitHub and GitHub Actions for version control and CI/CD pipeline automation.
  • Proficiency in setting up and managing monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or Datadog.
  • Strong experience with Linux/Windows based cloud infrastructures.
  • Strong understanding of AWS security best practices, including IAM, encryption, and network security.
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully managing complex projects.
  • Experience in MySQL and T-SQL database administration are a plus.
  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
