Blender Technician

We are seeking a skilled Blender to join our team at IVC Vita Health. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for blending our products to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain blending equipment, including Fitzmills and Comills, to ensure efficient and accurate production.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for cleaning and setting up mixers, as well as operating forklifts and scales.
- Understand and apply the use of the M2M system to ensure accurate blending and production.
- Assist in other work areas as needed, and participate in training and development programs to improve skills and knowledge.
- Meet or exceed productivity and quality standards, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or blending environment an asset.
- Ability to lift and move up to 100 lbs, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good mathematical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to pass forklift training during probationary period.
This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to wear a respirator at all times, and maintain a clean shave.
