The Department of Infrastructure, Regional Development, Transport & Communications is currently in search of a dedicated and qualified individual to fill the role of Manager of Health Services within the Indian Ocean Territories Health Service.

The Indian Ocean Territories Health Service provides essential primary and acute health care in two of Australia's most isolated and beautiful locations.

This service includes a fully operational 24-hour hospital and primary care facility, along with clinics on various islands.

The organization is committed to enhancing community health and well-being throughout the lifespan.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership and oversee the operational management of health services;
- Foster a collaborative, multi-disciplinary approach to delivering quality health care in a diverse and remote environment;
- Formulate, execute, and assess the strategic objectives of the health service in collaboration with senior management;
- The ideal candidate will possess proven leadership and operational management experience in a health service or similar setting, including oversight of financial, human, and physical resources;
- Demonstrated expertise in managing clinical and corporate governance frameworks, including adherence to accreditation standards;
- A strong ability to cultivate a culture focused on customer service, quality health outcomes, and ongoing improvement.

The successful applicant must be eligible for a security clearance, hold a valid driver's license, and comply with health assessment requirements.
