Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Repair Specialist to join our team at Port Moody Collision. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and restoration, demonstrating both technical expertise and a commitment to quality.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a trades certificate or diploma in auto body repair or equivalent experience.
  • Languages: Proficiency in Italian, Spanish (Castilian), or Ukrainian is considered an asset.
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Replace damaged front end components, body parts, doors, and underbody elements.
  • Prepare surfaces for repair by filing, grinding, and sanding.
  • Mask and tape areas in preparation for painting.
  • Utilize tools to hammer out dents and imperfections.
  • Remove and replace damaged fenders, panels, and grills.
  • Repair or replace interior components as necessary.
  • Straighten bent frames using specialized equipment.
Experience Requirements
  • Proven experience with body components, doors, frames, and underbody repairs.
  • Familiarity with metal cutting and welding techniques.
Work Environment
  • Fast-paced and physically demanding work setting.
  • Attention to detail is crucial for high-quality results.
  • Ability to perform tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling.
