We are seeking a skilled Transport Truck Mechanic to join our team at H C Transport Inc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet of commercial transport trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and diagnose mechanical issues with transport trucks, including engines, transmissions, and braking systems
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on transport trucks, including replacing parts and components as needed
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service on transport trucks, including oil changes and tire rotations
  • Coach and instruct apprentices in the maintenance and repair of transport trucks
Requirements
  • Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification
  • Motor Vehicle Inspector Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
