About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team at Summit Search Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair production equipment, including circuitry, relay logic, sensors, and other electrical systems.
  • Perform basic electrical construction work, including conduit, wiring, fixtures, and other electrical installations.
  • Work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), instrumentation, and control systems.
  • Operate and maintain Ammonia Refrigeration Systems, Boilers, Air Compressors, HVAC systems, and other industrial equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair typical industrial and building infrastructure and equipment.

Requirements:

  • Must have Journeyman status or be an apprentice nearing licensure.
  • 2nd Class Refrigeration Plant Operator or 3rd Class Power Engineer certification is an asset.
  • Strong commitment to best practices in health and safety.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented processing and manufacturing environment.
