Job Title: Housekeeping Manager

Travelodge Toronto East is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a professional with a strong background in housekeeping operations to oversee the daily activities of our housekeeping staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise Housekeeping Staff: Lead and manage a team of housekeeping staff to ensure that all areas of the hotel are clean and well-maintained.
  • Plan and Coordinate Activities: Develop and implement schedules and plans to ensure that all housekeeping tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Inspect and Maintain Facilities: Conduct regular inspections of our facilities to identify areas for improvement and ensure that all safety and health standards are met.
  • Manage Supplies and Equipment: Oversee the ordering and inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment to ensure that we have everything we need to maintain our high standards.
  • Co-ordinate Contract Services: Work with external contractors to ensure that all maintenance and repair work is completed to a high standard.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure that all housekeeping staff are aware of and comply with our policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a housekeeping or facilities management role.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a regular schedule of 32 to 40 hours per week. The work language is English.
