About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Used Car Manager to join our team at Lexus Downtown, part of the innovative Downtown AutoGroup Dealership. As a key member of our pre-owned luxury vehicle operations, you will be responsible for curating an outstanding inventory, guiding our team in presenting these vehicles, and ensuring that every pre-owned Lexus meets the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sourcing and acquiring high-quality pre-owned vehicles to maintain an attractive and diverse inventory
  • Overseeing the reconditioning process to ensure all vehicles meet our standards
  • Managing inventory and developing pricing strategies to optimize turnover and profitability
  • Leading and motivating the sales team to achieve targets
  • Collaborating with service and parts departments to optimize the reconditioning process
  • Analyzing market trends and adjusting strategies to maximize sales and profitability
  • Ensuring exceptional guest experiences throughout the pre-owned vehicle purchase process
  • Managing relationships with all sources of pre-owned inventory
Requirements
  • Proven experience in used car management, preferably in the luxury automotive sector
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing successful sales teams
  • Expert knowledge of vehicle valuation, reconditioning, and market trends
  • Excellent negotiation skills and financial acumen
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems and digital marketing tools
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Lexus or other luxury Japanese brands
  • Familiarity with certified pre-owned program standards and processes
  • Experience implementing innovative digital marketing strategies for pre-owned vehicles
  • Proficiency in multiple languages, particularly Mandarin or Cantonese
