Job Title: Virtual Platform Engineer
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Virtual Platform Engineer to join our team at NavitsPartners. As a key member of our IT infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining VMware-based virtualization platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement VMware-based virtualization platforms, including vSphere, vCenter, and NSX.
- Lead efforts in configuring, upgrading, and troubleshooting VMware Horizon and vRealize Operations.
- Conduct root cause analysis through detailed log reviews of ESXi and virtual machines.
- Configure and manage storage replication processes.
- Ensure robust backup strategies using tools like Veeam or Avamar.
Vital Competencies:
- Strong understanding of Dell and/or VMware technologies.
- Proven experience in incident response.
- Background in security.
- Ability to travel to client sites as needed.
