Drafting Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Drafting Technologist to join our team at NAFJ LANDSCAPE & BUILDING STONE SUPPLIER INC.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing engineering designs and drawings, reading blueprints to determine work requirements, and training new drafting personnel. They will also develop and prepare design sketches, examine drawings for conformity and errors, and consult with clients, engineers, or production specialists to establish product requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare engineering designs and drawings using AutoCAD
- Read blueprints to determine work requirements and ensure accuracy
- Train new drafting personnel to ensure a smooth transition
- Develop and prepare design sketches to meet client requirements
- Examine drawings for conformity and errors to ensure quality
- Consult with clients, engineers, or production specialists to establish product requirements
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in drafting or a related field
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Attention to detail and ability to distinguish between colors
