About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Content Editor to join our team at Parul's Artbox Ltd. As a Content Editor, you will be responsible for evaluating the suitability of material for publication, making decisions on the significance of copy, and planning the layout or format of copy according to space or time allocations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and select suitable content for publication, broadcast, or online distribution
  • Make informed decisions on the significance and relevance of content
  • Plan and coordinate the layout or format of content to meet space or time allocations
  • Publish content for distribution, ensuring accuracy and quality
  • Detect and correct errors in spelling, grammar, and syntax
  • Plan and coordinate coverage of upcoming events, assigning tasks accordingly
  • Negotiate royalties with authors and initiate payments to freelance staff
  • Collaborate with authors, staff writers, and reporters to revise content
  • Plan and coordinate activities of staff, ensuring production deadlines are met
  • Develop introductions, marketing materials, bibliographic references, and other text as needed
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • English language proficiency
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week
