We are seeking a skilled and creative individual to join our team at Algonquin College as a Foodie/Home Stylist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting customers in navigating our gourmet food and home interiors department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to customers in the gourmet food and home interiors department.
- Assist customers in selecting products and providing recommendations on gourmet food and home decor items.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of specialty foods, gourmet chocolate, and international cuisine.
- Participate in visual merchandising and store displays to create an engaging and inviting shopping environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals and provide a positive shopping experience.
Requirements:
- Previous retail experience, preferably in a food or home decor environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.
- Knowledge of gourmet food and home decor products and trends.
