Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise a team of refrigeration and air conditioning mechanics, electric appliance servicers and repairers, and construction millwrights.
    • Provide technical guidance and support to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Maintenance and Repair
    • Oversee the maintenance and repair of HVAC systems, including routine checks, repairs, and replacements.
    • Ensure that all maintenance and repair work is carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Planning and Scheduling
    • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure that all HVAC systems are properly maintained and repaired.
    • Coordinate with other departments to ensure that maintenance and repair work is carried out efficiently and effectively.
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure that all maintenance and repair work is carried out in a safe and healthy manner.
    • Identify and report any potential health and safety hazards to management.
  • Reporting and Record Keeping
    • Prepare and submit regular reports on maintenance and repair activities.
    • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work, including dates, times, and details of work carried out.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Trade Certification.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
