Position Overview: As a Senior Software Engineering Leader at OSEDEA, you will be expected to exhibit a high level of discipline in software development while taking the lead on various projects and initiatives. Your role will involve collaborating with both technical and non-technical team members, mentoring them as you design, develop, and deliver comprehensive software solutions tailored for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide your team through the software development lifecycle, adhering to specifications such as Software Requirements Specifications (SRS) and Interface Designs.
  • Transform functional requirements into detailed technical specifications.
  • Provide your expertise through thorough analysis, accurate estimates, and comprehensive reviews and audits.
  • Proactively take the initiative on projects and tasks, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Maintain and reinforce software development best practices and guidelines.
  • Conduct research, testing, and implementation of innovative techniques and technologies.
  • Advise and consult with clients regarding technical decisions and strategic direction.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience as a software developer or engineer, with at least 3 recent years working with modern programming languages such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and/or Java.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role managing a team of software developers in a professional environment.
  • A Master's degree, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent qualification in a software-related field.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English.

Technical Skills:

  • Full-stack web development expertise.
  • Familiarity with various Development Methodologies (Agile, Scrum, XP, Kanban, Shape Up, etc.).
  • Experience in Application Testing (unit, functional, E2E, etc.).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD Pipelines.
