We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Manager to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our credit department, you will play a crucial role in shaping our credit processes, policies, and procedures to ensure the highest level of portfolio quality.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement credit policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Lead a team of credit analysts and underwriters to review and approve loan applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate credit risk
- Provide regular reports to senior management on credit performance and trends
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in commercial lending
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- 7-10 years of experience in commercial lending, with at least 2 years in retail mortgage lending and managerial duties
- Proficiency in commercial and retail lending regulations, policies, and procedures
- Track record of developing underwriting policies and implementing quality control measures
- Understanding of collection practices and current business legislations
