WHAT IS THE ROLE?
Become a part of our Dexterra Integrated Facilities Management team, where innovation, social responsibility, and advancement in construction are at the forefront of our mission.
As a Facilities Operations Coordinator, your responsibilities will encompass the planning and execution of both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance for our facilities, equipment, vehicles, and systems. Additionally, you will manage inventory, assist with cleaning duties as needed, and handle the delivery and collection of supplies and laundry.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring that all planned and unplanned maintenance tasks are completed promptly and efficiently.
- Conducting repairs on small tools, automation systems, vehicles, and equipment.
- Collaborating closely with Supervisors and the Operations Manager to meet project deadlines.
- Tracking, receiving, and unloading inventory effectively.
- Performing audits and regular inspections of building structures to identify repair needs; establishing and coordinating preventive measures and work practices to minimize maintenance requirements.
- Assisting management with the completion of Job Hazard Assessments and Accident and Incident reports.
- Promoting safe work practices and procedures that comply with and exceed the minimum Health and Safety Standards. Possessing a solid understanding of all liabilities and the enforcement of Health and Safety regulations.
- Providing custodial support when requested.
- Maintaining various site areas, including snow removal and lawn care.

WHO ARE WE SEEKING?
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Canada.
- A clear criminal background check.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Organized with proficient reading and writing capabilities.
- Ability to lift and carry weights between 25-50 lbs.
