Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Journeyman/Woman to join our team at Industrial Electrics Limited. As a key member of our electrical services team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure electrical systems are functioning properly, including testing and measuring voltage, loads, and ground faults.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Identify and repair electrical faults, and troubleshoot issues with electrical systems.
  • Installation and Upgrade: Install and upgrade electrical systems, including wiring and circuitry.
  • Training and Development: Train and mentor apprentices in electrical systems and safety procedures.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, and provide reports to management as required.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in electrical systems maintenance and repair.
  • Certifications: Electrician Trade Certification and Construction Electrician Red Seal Certificate.
  • Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and attention to detail.
