Farm Equipment Operator Job Description

Parkland Ventures Inc. is seeking a skilled Farm Equipment Operator to join our team. As a key member of our agricultural team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining farm machinery and equipment to ensure efficient crop production.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, including tractors, harvesters, and planters.
  • Develop and implement plans to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient crop production.
  • Clear fields of wood and stones to prepare for planting.
  • Fertilize and spray crops to promote healthy growth.
  • Harvest crops using specialized equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in farm equipment operation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate heavy machinery.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
Working Conditions:
  • Work will be performed outdoors in a rural area.
  • Exposure to dust, heat, and noise.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.
