About the Role:

Ferrero International S.A. is a leading global confectionery company with a rich history and a strong commitment to innovation and quality. As a Project Engineering Intern, you will play a key role in supporting the development and implementation of projects in our food manufacturing sector.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for supporting project managers and engineers in the execution of major investment projects, from conception to design, execution, and commissioning.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing drawings and technical specifications as part of feasibility studies
  • Preparing tender packages and participating in the tender phase for the selection of external suppliers
  • Monitoring project costs and time schedules
  • Resolving manufacturing issues in a timely and effective manner
  • Ensuring manufacturing adherence to standard practices and creating or modifying procedures where required
  • Improving and standardizing existing processes through innovation and collaboration

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a strong interest in food manufacturing and project management. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and prioritize tasks.

Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary degree program in Electrical, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical/Automation, Chemical Engineering, or other relevant field
  • Familiarity with project management, Microsoft Office, and AutoCAD
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset
  • Ability to work in a team and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Analytical problem-solving skills and excellent computer skills
