About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Agricultural Equipment Technician to join our team at Rocky Mountain Equipment LP. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our heavy equipment fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Instructing and Mentoring

Provide guidance and training to apprentices in the maintenance and repair of agricultural equipment.

Equipment Inspection and Repair

Conduct thorough inspections of equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, and diagnose issues using computerized testing equipment.

Maintenance Reporting and Documentation

Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and testing.

Quality Control

Test repaired equipment to ensure it meets manufacturer specifications and performs optimally.

Heavy Truck Repair

Perform repair work on heavy trucks, including routine maintenance and troubleshooting.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

No degree, certificate, or diploma required; 3-5 years of experience in equipment maintenance and repair.

Physical Demands

Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel; lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

Personal Qualities

Accurate, client-focused, dependable, excellent oral communication skills, flexibility, judgement, reliability, team player, and organized.
