Job Summary:
Gordon Food Service is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Order Selector to join our team. As an Order Selector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate selection of products for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lift and load food service products (from 10-80lbs) onto pallets
- Prepare pallets for shipping to a customer location
- Accurately scan and select products using a computerized inventory system
- Safely operate power equipment, including electric pallet jacks
- Work in a variety of temperature zones, including a freezer (-20 degrees Celsius), cooler, and dry goods areas
- Exposure to and handling of all types of food products, including seafood, meats, dairy, produce, spices, beverages, and equipment
- Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety rules and regulations and Food Safety programs
- Perform other duties as required
Requirements:
- Must be physically fit and able to perform general labor safely and repeatedly lift, stack, pull, and carry heavy items
- A focus on health and safety
- Must demonstrate a proven record of consistent on-time attendance
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred
