Job Summary:

Challenger Motor Freight Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to join our team. As an Operations Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle all drivers that arrive at our terminal, including in-house and interline drivers, as a driver check-in.
  • Route, stamp, and enter all shipments that arrive at the terminal.
  • Prepare all linehaul trips and manifests for all carriers departing the terminal, including CP Intermodal and over-the-road carriers.
  • Perform various clerical duties, including maintaining and following Canada's Dangerous Goods regulations for all means of transportation.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Bilingual in French and English.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • English language proficiency, both written and oral, is required.
  • Good computer literacy, including MS Office.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to organize, schedule, and follow instructions.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of the transportation/container industry is beneficial.
