Position Overview
We are seeking a seasoned attorney for a one-year contract to become a vital part of our Insurance - Group Benefits Legal Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal guidance on the implications of legislation across Canada, offering expertise to our life and health insurance sectors.
- Draft and negotiate essential strategic agreements with our plan sponsors and service providers.
- Support the creation of digital-centric and customer-focused insurance offerings.
- Collaborate with various business units to align with our corporate objectives.
- Manage legal risks by considering our unique business requirements and innovative legal strategies.
- Develop and refine templates, playbooks, and operational processes.
- Offer counsel in areas such as insurance, corporate law, digital regulations, privacy, data protection, cybersecurity, technology, and health law.
