Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Driver/Operator to join our team at Beacon Building Products. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely transporting construction materials to our customers while adhering to our safety policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform pre-departure checks to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
- Deliver materials in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to delivery schedules and times
- Maintain accurate records and registers, including transport documents and vehicle condition
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies
- Assist in the preparation of orders and perform other related tasks as required
Requirements:
- Secondary 5 education
- Valid Class 1 or Class 3 driver's license
- Good driving record and reliability
- Excellent customer service and safety skills
- Experience driving a boom truck is an asset
- Valid forklift certificate is an advantage
