About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Bilingual Resource Specialist to join our team at Kids Help Phone. As a key member of our Information and Referral team, you will play a critical role in supporting young people and front-line staff by curating and validating records of community-based resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and identify resources, programs, and tools from across Canada to input into our Community Resource Database.
  • Create and update database records using our detailed evaluation methodology, including information and referral standards, and internal policies.
  • Provide high-quality, timely, and efficient services, including entering and reporting data, and carrying out document and records management.
  • Participate in digital and in-person methods to confirm the accuracy of records within Resources Around Me.
  • Develop knowledge translation products to support the use of Resources Around Me for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bilingualism in French and English is required.
  • Post-secondary education in library science or a relevant field.
  • Experience in mental health content and/or health promotion.
  • Experience in online/social media youth advocacy space.
  • Experience with Kids Help Phone's services.
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Diligent job ethic, information-oriented, and self-motivated.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong research, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
