Position Overview

The role of the Truck Drivers Supervisor at ROAD RAGERS ONTARIO INC involves overseeing the daily operations of our transportation team, ensuring efficient and safe practices in the field.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 to 3 years in a supervisory role within the trucking industry
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and analyze production and operational reports
  • Propose enhancements to work methods for improved efficiency
  • Address work-related issues, offering technical guidance and strategies to boost productivity and quality
  • Supervise and manage team members and ongoing projects
  • Facilitate training sessions or organize training for staff
  • Oversee the dispatch of drivers and monitor their routes
  • Coordinate and schedule daily activities
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Advise on personnel decisions
  • Manage repair and rental coordination
  • Order necessary materials, equipment, and supplies
Supervisory Scope

Responsible for supervising a team of 5-10 individuals.

Work Environment

This position is permanent and requires a commitment of 35 to 50 hours per week. The primary language of work is English.
