About the Role

Ramanjot Kaur is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child Caregiver to join our team. As a Child Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children in a residential setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Childcare and Education: Develop and implement engaging activities and educational programs to promote the cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Household Management: Maintain a clean and safe living environment, including meal preparation, laundry, and light housekeeping.
  • Health and Hygiene: Ensure the health and well-being of children by administering medication, monitoring health conditions, and promoting good hygiene practices.
  • Transportation and Errands: Safely transport children to and from school, appointments, and activities.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Maintain open and effective communication with parents, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care and support.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: Experience an asset
  • Personal Qualities: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, and a team player.
Working Conditions
  • Work Site Environment: Non-smoking
  • Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
