Executive Housekeeping Manager

At Canad Inns Destination Centre Fort Garry, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Housekeeping Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the overall operation of the Housekeeping department, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and adjust strategies to ensure excellent guest experiences.
  • Manage the operation of the housekeeping, public space, and laundry areas.
  • Ensure that rooms and public space areas are spotless and continually restocked and straightened.
  • Implement processes and procedures to support achievement of service and financial goals.
  • Monitor budget and take corrective steps as necessary.
  • Inspect rooms, public space, and back-of-the-house areas regularly.
  • Determine staffing levels and schedule employees accordingly.
  • Develop and implement training programs for employees.
  • Oversee inventory, purchasing, and cost control for linens, cleaning supplies, and other essential items.
  • Manage outsourced relationships with laundry operations.
  • Monitor compliance with safety standards.
  • Coordinate room availability and maintenance with other departments.
  • Communicate effectively with management and other teams to advise on changes, challenges, and concerns.
  • Develop and implement strategies to support employee engagement and retention.
