Position Overview

Bright Angels Children Centre Inc is seeking a dedicated **Childcare Support Specialist** to assist in nurturing the growth and development of young children. This role is essential in providing a safe and stimulating environment for infants and toddlers.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of a **College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma** from a program lasting 1 to 2 years.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide care for infants and toddlers, including bathing, diapering, and feeding.
  • Support early childhood educators in implementing programs that foster children's physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate records as directed by early childhood educators or supervisors.
  • Engage children in various activities, including storytelling, singing, and crafting.
  • Prepare snacks and organize spaces for meal and rest times.
  • Document observations regarding children's progress and submit reports to educators or supervisors.
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss children's development and any concerns.
