Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at the Southgate Centre. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the selling team, ensuring exceptional customer service and operational standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead by example, providing exceptional customer service and serving as a role model for all customer service standards.
- Manage the selling team, providing direction and feedback to ensure high-performance and achievement of department KPIs.
- Assist the Store General Manager with timely reporting, sales and profit achievement, P&L management, inventory management, and staff performance.
- Oversee the delivery of service shop customer service standards and operations compliance within the service shop.
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager to ensure departments are well-maintained, re-stocked, and markdowns are complete.
- Assist in the development and implementation of inventory improvement plans.
- Ensure store and employee adherence to Health and Safety Policies and programs.
- 3-4 years of senior retail management experience, with P&L responsibility.
- Superior communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train team members to achieve desired outcomes.
- Strong sense of urgency, with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Ability to think logically and analytically in a fast-paced environment.
