Electrical Foreman Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Foreman to oversee and coordinate a team of electricians, ensuring the successful completion of electrical projects. This role requires a strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to lead and motivate a team to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of electricians to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Plan and design wiring diagrams, conduit systems, and electrical panel locations to meet project requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Monitor project progress to ensure timely completion and budget adherence.
  • Troubleshoot electrical problems and diagnose issues to minimize downtime and optimize project outcomes.
  • Train and mentor electricians in safety protocols and job skills to enhance their performance and productivity.
  • Ensure that all necessary materials and equipment are available for projects to maintain a smooth workflow.
  • Verify that the quality of work meets the required standards to ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience in electrical installation and wiring.
  • Proven experience in a lead or supervisory role, with a strong track record of success.
  • Working knowledge of electrical codes and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and schematics to inform project decisions.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
