Job Title: Computer Operations Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Computer Operations Supervisor to join our team at ADVANCED PRECAST INC.

Job Summary:

The Computer Operations Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and administering local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment. This role will also involve evaluating and installing computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software, as well as providing problem-solving services to network users.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and troubleshoot LANs, WANs, mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment
  • Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software
  • Provide problem-solving services to network users
  • Implement data, software, and hardware security procedures
  • Perform routine network start up and close down and maintain control records
  • Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations
  • Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet
  • Implement network traffic and security monitoring software, and optimize server performance
  • Supervise technical staff
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of work
  • 40 hours per week
