About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dance Instructor to join our team at Malwa Folk Art Center Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Training: Develop and deliver dance classes to students of various skill levels, focusing on technique, artistic expression, and performance quality.
  • Performance and Choreography: Create and rehearse new dance routines, and perform in various settings, including concerts, festivals, and community events.
  • Student Preparation: Help students prepare for auditions, performances, and other dance-related events, providing guidance on technique, costume selection, and stage presence.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest dance techniques, trends, and industry developments, and maintain high levels of technical proficiency through ongoing practice and training.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other dance instructors, artists, and staff members to develop and implement dance programs, and effectively communicate with students, parents, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in dance instruction, performance, or a related field
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
