The Senior Analysts within the Technology Platforms Integration, Compliance & Operations Group are essential in guiding Application Custodians to maintain Technology Platform Compliance. Your role will significantly mitigate cyber and financial risks to RBC.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct compliance operations by evaluating technology currency, security standards, and patching statuses in collaboration with stakeholders, including application teams and technology owners.
- Foster a customer-centric culture to enhance stakeholder relationships and utilize broader organizational knowledge to support the modernization of our Technology Operations Portal.
- Act as a liaison among various departments, facilitating improved technology compliance through comprehensive business reporting, analysis, and project management.
- Contribute to the development of technical solutions for tracking enablement activities, including API reviews and application performance metrics.
- Assess user requirements to define technical specifications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment.
- Execute daily and ad hoc system health checks, coordinating with the Compliance development team to address potential technical issues proactively.
- Design and implement processes and workflows to achieve streamlined reporting objectives, maintaining thorough documentation of Tech Ops Portal developments.
- Curate and update content across centralized platforms to assist application teams and risk management groups in their planning and compliance efforts.
Qualifications for Success
Essential Criteria:
- A Bachelor's degree or Community College Diploma in a relevant field.
- 3-5 years of experience in Information Technology, Infrastructure, Risk Management, Software Development, Project Management, or Business/Finance.
- Practical experience in technology compliance and risk management principles.
- A curious mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Experience in a professional, deadline-oriented environment is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience in advanced data analysis techniques.
