Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Actuarial and Statistical Advisor to join our team at Desjardins Group. As a key member of our actuarial services team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the profitability and balanced risk-return ratios for our products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise clients and partners on strategic projects and initiatives, helping them position, plan, develop, execute, and monitor their efforts.
  • Develop and update policies, standards, models, and programs to support our unit's strategic projects and initiatives.
  • Identify, analyze, and diagnose major issues, making recommendations to decision-making bodies.
  • Represent our unit before decision-making bodies and negotiate agreements with external partners and organizations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • A minimum of six years of relevant experience.
  • Strong communication skills in both French and English, both oral and written.
