Civil Engineering Internship

Hatch is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineering Co-op Student to join our Infrastructure, Water group. As a co-op student, you will have the opportunity to work on complex projects, collaborate with diverse teams, and gain valuable experience in the field of civil engineering.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the design development of watermains and sewers, including creating construction plans and details.
- Perform engineering calculations to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of designs.
- Prepare technical reports documenting project specifications, design calculations, and regulatory compliance.
- Utilize civil engineering software for modeling and analysis, and assist in the preparation of technical drawings using CAD software.
- Participate in occasional site visits to monitor project progress and collect photographic information.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering degree co-op program at an accredited University.
- Strong CAD skills, and experience with AutoCAD/MicroStation is required.
- Positive team attitude, results-oriented, and ability to work independently.
- Passion for learning, challenges, and your field of study.
