Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Chemical Conversion Technician to join our Manufacturing team in Port Alberni, BC, Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating the chemical conversion process, ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry standards, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the production supervisor to ensure smooth operation of the chemical conversion process.
- Monitor and report any non-conformance issues or equipment malfunctions.
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory and industry standards through internal training programs.
- Ensure all manufacturing processes are carried out in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Maintain and calibrate production equipment, and ensure all tools and equipment meet storage requirements.
- Verify the receipt of aeronautical products with proper traceability and certification information.
- Complete and submit production records in a timely manner.
- Certify designated production work as required.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure quantities are maintained at acceptable levels.
- Work in accordance with safety guidelines and company standards.
Requirements
- Ability to perform repetitive motion tasks, including bending, reaching, turning, and continuous use of arms.
- Ability to lift 30lbs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to meet deadlines and be punctual.
- Good hand skills and hand-eye coordination.
- Organized, reliable, and team player attitude.
- Valid driver's license and reliable means of transportation.
Benefits
- $20 - $22/hour.
