Position Overview:

The Department of Medical Imaging at the University of Toronto is seeking applications for a full-time clinical faculty role as a Radiologist specializing in Breast Imaging. This position is intended for candidates eligible for a clinical academic appointment at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant Professor.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage in clinical practice across various modalities within Breast Imaging, including mammography, digital breast tomosynthesis, breast ultrasound, and MR imaging.
  • Perform image-guided procedures, primarily ultrasound, MRI, and stereotactic biopsies.
  • Oversee and mentor residents and clinical fellows in their daily activities.
  • Participate in educational activities such as journal clubs and rounds.
  • Collaborate closely with surgical and oncological teams, contributing to multidisciplinary meetings.
Qualifications:

Applicants must possess an MD degree or equivalent and be certified or eligible for certification in Diagnostic Radiology. Candidates should also be eligible for medical licensure in Ontario and have completed formal fellowship training in Breast Imaging. Strong clinical expertise in modern Breast Imaging techniques, including MRI and MRI-guided procedures, is essential.
