Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Paladin Security. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to alarms and service calls in a timely and professional manner
  • Conduct regular property inspections to identify potential security risks
  • Supervise security personnel and provide guidance and support as needed
  • Assist with scheduling and client liaison duties
  • Perform vehicle maintenance and ensure that all equipment is in good working order
Requirements
  • Valid G Class license with a minimum of 3 years of driving experience
  • Drivers abstract with no more than 2 minor convictions, no major convictions, and no more than 6 demerits in the last three years
  • Diploma in Police Foundations, Protection Security & Investigations, Border Services, or Criminology (preferred)
  • Previous security experience is an asset
  • Working knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act and Mental Health Act
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated punctuality and reliability, tact and diplomacy
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • First Aid, CPR Level C
  • COVID Double Vaccinated
  • Standard First Aid, CPR Level C
  • Valid Ontario Security License

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position working 1st Shift, 2nd Shift, 3rd Shift. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and must be able to adapt to changing situations.
