Position Overview:
This role is for a skilled Developer specializing in Angular to create and implement applications that meet business needs. The candidate will work in a hybrid environment, contributing to a core platform focused on derivative trading.

Work Environment:
Hybrid work model with a requirement to be on-site occasionally. The contract is for a defined period with potential for extension or transition to a full-time position.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Evaluate complex business requirements and produce technical specifications for designing or redesigning intricate software components.
  2. Serve as a key technical resource for modeling, simulation, and analytical tasks.
  3. Utilize industry best practices to design, test, implement, and maintain solutions.
  4. Ensure that quality, security, and compliance standards are upheld.
  5. Adapt to a dynamic work environment and respond positively to changes.

Essential Qualifications:

  1. Over 10 years of experience in UI Development with a focus on Angular.
  2. Recent hands-on experience with Angular version 14 or higher.
  3. Proven track record in designing, developing, and deploying large-scale projects from inception to completion.
  4. Experience with iterative and agile software development life cycles.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience in upgrading projects from older Angular versions to the latest.
  2. Background in Capital Markets, particularly in derivative trading.
  3. Familiarity with AG Grid.
  4. Proficient in using tools such as JIRA, Bitbucket, and Confluence.

Soft Skills:

  1. Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills to engage effectively with team members.
  2. Ability to analyze complex problems and conduct thorough research to develop innovative solutions.
  3. Proficient in resolving technical challenges and comprehending intricate details.
  4. Sound judgment in selecting appropriate methods and techniques for problem-solving.

Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have a portfolio showcasing open-source contributions or personal projects, preferably with experience in top-tier financial institutions.

Educational Background:
A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Science or Computer Engineering is required.

Selection Process:
The selection process will include an initial virtual meeting followed by a coding assessment, and a subsequent technical interview with the development team.
