Job Title: Software Development Engineer Internship

Amazon is seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer Internship to join our team of industry-leading experts in big data analytics. As a Software Development Engineer Internship, you will be responsible for designing and developing software products that impact many areas of our business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop software products that impact many areas of our business
  • Help define requirements, create software designs, implement code to specifications, provide thorough unit and integration testing, and support products while deployed and used by our stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
