Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring nurseries foster a culture of safety and follow PRT protocols and procedures.
  • Responsible for ensuring crops meet customer specifications and reliability.
  • Driving continuous improvement and the use of new technology or best practices.
  • Managing budgets and ensuring nurseries meet or exceed financial targets.
  • Leading problem-solving efforts to ensure root cause analysis and corrective actions are implemented.
  • Developing skills and behaviors consistent with PRT competencies and strategy.

About the Team

You will be part of a team of 5 Regional Managers, reporting to the VP Operations, West. This role will have performance accountability for our Armstrong, Juniper Beach, Coldstream, Summerland, and Skimikin BC teams.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree or diploma in horticulture, agriculture, or forestry, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Five or more years of relevant experience in a leadership role with multiple location oversight.
  • Strong accountable leadership skills with the ability to plan, set goals, train, and coach employees.
  • Ability to analyze and think strategically, problem-solve, and conduct root cause analysis.
  • Must be able to travel frequently within your region and as otherwise required.
