Job Summary

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Lions Gate Hospital in North Vancouver, BC. As an LPN, you will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary care team to provide high-quality patient care in an orthopedic setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, including administering medications and performing various nursing procedures.
  • Work independently and collaboratively as a member of the care team to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in orthopedic care.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a recognized Licensed Practical Nurse program and successful completion of formal post-basic education in advanced orthopedics for LPNs.
  • Current practicing registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to provide high-quality patient care.
