Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated AZ driver to join our short haul team in Port Sydney, Muskoka. As an AZ driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting materials across Northern and Southern Ontario.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate an AZ truck and trailer, transporting materials to various locations
- Conduct thorough pre and post trip inspections of the vehicle
- Safely load and unload materials, ensuring load security
- Follow assigned routes and schedules, adapting to environmental or route changes
- Perform manual tarping on loads when necessary
Requirements
- Valid AZ driver's license with a clean CVOR and driver's abstract
- Experience operating 18-speed manual transmission is preferred
- Minimum 3 years experience as an AZ driver in a similar role
- Must be physically able to perform repetitive lifting up to 50lbs
- Must be comfortable sleeping in truck bunk during hauls
