Position Overview

We are on the lookout for an IT Solutions Consultant to become a vital part of our growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in the strategizing, implementation, and integration of network and security technology solutions for intricate large-scale initiatives.
  • Support developers in effectively utilizing various middleware services.
  • Establish the network environment by configuring systems, supervising installations, and creating, documenting, and enforcing system standards.
  • Contribute to round-the-clock support for deployed solutions.
  • Provide assistance for middleware components and their environments in collaboration with various infrastructure teams.
  • Work with the operations team to manage incidents and requests, offering high-level support during significant incidents.
  • Actively participate in enhancing and automating our platforms and processes.
  • Take part in RFPs, RFQs, and BOMs as required.
  • Maintain security protocols, backup strategies, and redundancy plans.
  • Help improve key data quality processes to execute them efficiently with simplicity, speed, and quality.
  • Engage in system testing activities related to infrastructure solutions.

Qualifications:

  • A university degree, college diploma, or equivalent education and experience.
  • 8 to 10 years of experience in a computer systems administration role or a similar capacity.
  • Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to meet company objectives while adapting to change in a fast-paced environment.
  • Practical experience and knowledge of applying agile methodologies and processes.
  • Proficiency in maintaining and implementing Baselines such as CIS.
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities and the ability to analyze options to achieve optimal solutions.
  • Thrives in a dynamic, independent environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Solid understanding and experience with application technologies: Automation (Ansible, GitHub), IBM Datapower, MQ, JBOSS, DevOps, Linux.
  • Bilingualism is required for candidates in Quebec due to frequent interactions with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
  • No Canadian work experience is necessary, but eligibility to work in Canada is required.
